The St. Johns County Court Administration Office seeks a qualified candidate to fill the position of Juvenile Drug Court Program Specialist. The purpose of this position is to assist the Drug Court Coordinator with the day to day operations of the St. Johns County Juvenile Drug Court Program. To assist in the coordination of the program?s intake process. Compiles and completes accurate, written, timely one-page progress reports. Participates in program related meetings. Assists in the maintenance of the program?s manual and handbook. Assists in the education of the team concerning the program?s design, policies and procedures. Assists in the identification of drug court related training opportunities to include cross training. Assists in the maintenance of program related statistics. Assist with program related administrative functions (grants, budgets, etc.).Work closely with treatment providers concerning program related issues. Assists Juvenile Probation Officer (JPO) in participant supervision. Conducts and documents office, telephone and field contacts, as well as maintain demographic. Information and active case files, of participants and their families. Full time presence on the job. Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, business administration, social sciences or related discipline required. Related experience may substitute for the required education on a year for year basis. Knowledge concerning the operations of court administration, juvenile justice, and substance abuse. Skilled in multiple levels of communicating, both written and verbal. Ability to build consensus among team members and to organize multiple complex tasks. Must possess and maintain a valid Florida driver license.
